VPS runs on a single physical host — if the host fails, the VPS fails. Cloud Server runs on an HA cluster with Ceph distributed storage and live migration. When a host fails, the VM automatically moves to another host within seconds with zero downtime.
Yes. Hot-scale vCPU and RAM without rebooting. Expanding Ceph disk is also done online. Downgrading only requires one reboot.
Each hour the VM is running is charged a small unit price — you only pay for actual usage time. Stop or delete the VM anytime to stop billing. If running a full 720h/month, BKNS automatically caps at the monthly price (about 20% cheaper).
