Information Privacy Policy
1. Information collection
Bach Kim Network Solutions JSC (BKNS) collects information from customers and users in the following ways:
+ When a customer account is registered at my.bkns.net.
+ Through registration forms linked on bkns.vn and its subpages.
2. Scope and purpose of use of the collected information
+ To announce promotions, special offers and important BKNS events (email marketing).
+ To improve customer support by sending renewal notices and other information about the customer's services.
3. Parties with access to, and recipients of, customer information
BKNS does not sell, rent or exchange customers' personal information for commercial purposes. Information is accessed by, or transferred to, only the following parties, to the extent necessary:
+ BKNS employees and managers, according to their job permissions.
+ Partners that perform the services the customer has registered for, receiving only the data needed for that service:
– Domestic and international domain registrars: the full name or organization name, email, phone number and address of the domain holder; for .vn domains, also the ID card or citizen identity card number and date of birth (individuals) or the tax code (organizations), as required by the .vn domain registration rules. Part of this information may be displayed in WHOIS in accordance with the rules of the domain authority.
– SSL certificate authorities and distributors: the domain-validation email; for OV/EV certificates, additional organization information.
– Payment processors and e-invoicing providers, when the customer makes a payment.
+ Competent state authorities, as required by law.
Some of the partners above are located abroad, so data may be transferred abroad to perform the services the customer has registered for.
4. Information security
– BKNS uses information security measures to protect the data in its systems against loss, misuse or alteration.
– BKNS undertakes not to sell or rent customers' information. Information that customers send to BKNS is used to provide the services the customer has registered for, to contact them for support, and to send news from BKNS when the customer has agreed to receive it.
5. Updating and correcting user information
+ BKNS customers can edit the contact details of the individual or organization stored at BKNS through their customer account. The details customers can edit are: phone number, address, email, ID card number, date of birth and contact person.
+ A change to the customer's name must be requested through the forms set by BKNS. BKNS verifies the new information before updating it in the system.
6. Unsubscribing from BKNS emails
If you no longer wish to receive our emails, please click the unsubscribe link in any email we send you.
7. Retention period of customer information
All information customers register on BKNS websites is stored in the CRM database of Bach Kim Network Solutions JSC until the customer has fully terminated all service contracts with us, except for data that must be kept longer by law: accounting records and invoices are kept for 10 years; system logs and IP addresses are kept for 12 months.
8. Receiving and resolving customer complaints about information security
For any matter concerning the security of user information, we will contact you by the email address or phone number you provided when registering for the service. If you change your information, or find that your personal information has been used unlawfully because of us, please notify us immediately and we will work with you to resolve it promptly.
