Server colocation is a service for businesses or individuals who already own physical servers: you bring your server to a professional Data Center to run it there instead of building a server room at your office.
With this service, the Data Center only rents you the space and infrastructure conditions — you keep full ownership and management of your server.
Building an in-house server room demands huge upfront capital: precision cooling, UPS units, backup generators, fire-suppression systems and dedicated fibre lines.
Add the monthly power bill of keeping the room at temperature 24/7 and it gets expensive fast. With Colocation, all that infrastructure capex becomes a comfortable monthly operating cost — saving businesses up to 40% of total cost of ownership.
For large website projects, physical server performance is make-or-break for SEO. A slow-responding server immediately hinders Googlebot crawling.
Deploying fleets of satellite domains through providers like BKNS or NameSilo requires diverse, clean static IP ranges. Hosting at a Data Center gives you easy access to additional static IP blocks.
Your system may face sudden traffic surges during big media campaigns. At a Data Center, extra bandwidth is just one phone call away.
As your business grows, you can expand from a compact 1U all the way to a full rack (42U/47U) without tearing down and rebuilding a server room like at the office.
Colocation at partner Data Centers provides ideal operating conditions for your servers.
Using water to fight fire in a server room is a disaster. Modern Data Centers are equipped with clean-agent suppression systems (FM200 or NOVEC 1230).
Page-load speed depends directly on link capacity and quality. A carrier-neutral Data Center is an optimal choice.
Power is the heartbeat of a server. A standards-grade Data Center runs dual UPS systems delivering continuous power while switching over to generators.
Electronics are hyper-sensitive to their environment. Professional Data Centers use precision air-conditioning (PAC) holding a strict 22°C ± 2 and 45% – 55% humidity.
Dense fibre infrastructure with domestic and international bandwidth plus direct peering to leading ISPs (FPT, VNPT, CMC) to reduce network latency.
Your physical server holds all your source code and customer data — demand that your Data Center prove it runs 3-layer physical access control.
You can't always rush to the Data Center at 2 AM. Remote Hands service provides NOC (Network Operations Center) technicians on duty 24/7/365.
BKNS partners with FPT IDC, VNPT IDC, and CMC IDC. With advanced technology platforms and a professional technical team, BKNS is committed to delivering effective, reliable solutions for your server hosting and operation needs.

Absolutely. However, tower servers take up far more rack space than slim rack-mount units, so the space (U) fee for towers is usually double or triple.
BKNS racks your server in the Data Center within 1 working day. For urgent out-of-hours installs, please call our hotline 1900 63 68 09.
Yes. If your server comes under DDoS attack, BKNS can open up service bandwidth well beyond the attack volume to minimise impact — keeping the service uninterrupted, along with an effective mitigation plan.
You get unmetered traffic, with link speeds from 100Mbps upward depending on your plan.
Yes — you are the legal owner of the equipment. For on-site security you must file a ticket in advance (staff list, ID cards, expected time). On arrival, Data Center staff escort you and unlock the rack.
Shared bandwidth is pooled with other customers and can slow down at peak times. A Dedicated Port is a physical link with a 100% committed dedicated rate — no degradation, ideal for livestreaming or financial trading systems.
